General Information

Saga Shop is Icelandair's duty free store. Through this website you can order before your departure and receive your products on board.

 

It is important to take the following into account when you order online:

  • When you order online you need to fill out your name, booking- or ticket number.
  • You must order at least 48 hours before departure if delivered onboard.
  • Not all products which are available online are available on board Icelandair flights.
  • The Saga Shop catalog comes out four times a year.

 

Buying Process.

You need to order at least 48 hours before your departure when you order online if delivered onboard. When a customer has found a product he/she can choose to add the item to the shopping basket. You must choose the number of items if you wish to order more than one. To remove or change items in the basket you press the shopping basket icon in the top right. Choose finish order when you have completed adding items to your basket and are ready to purchase. You must fill in all information to proceed. You will receive a confirmation that your order has been processed.


Returning Items.

There is a limited amount of space onboard Icelandair planes and sometimes demand is more than supply. We apologize if a selected item is not available. A one year guarantee is on all products sold in Saga Shop. Please keep your receipts. If a product purchased proves to be faulty, customers asked to go to the Icelandair main offices, all weekdays between 13:00 and 16:00, where you can exchange the product with a valid receipt. Pick up and payment.

You only pay for the product when you pick it up. You can pick up your order on board the Icelandair plane.

Icelandair is a cashless airline, onboard we accept payments with all debit, credit cards and Saga points.

 

Saga Shop Conditions.

  • A one year guarantee is on all products sold in Saga Shop.
  • You can exchange products with a valid receipt at the Icelandair head office, all weekdays between 13:00 and 16:00

Vildarpunktar (Frequent Flier Program) in Saga Shop.

Members of the Icelandair Saga Club collect Saga Points when they shop at Saga Shop. Please show your Saga Card when you pay for your product. Please note: Only the rightful owner of the Saga Card can buy goods with Saga Points and the cardholder name on both the Saga Card and the credit card or debit card must match. Terms when purchasing goods with your Saga Club card:

  • You must present both your Saga Club card and your credit or debit card.
  • Cabin crew are not allowed to type in the Saga Club card number if you do not have your Saga Club card with you.
  • Only the holder of the Saga Club card can use their Saga Points to purchase goods, and the names on the Saga Club card and the credit/debit card must be the same.
  • Both cards are swiped through the mobile-POS on board. The credit/debit card is used as insurance and is only charged if there are not enough Saga Points.
  • The passenger is responsible for having enough Saga Points for the purchase.
  • When purchasing with Saga Points the passenger must have enough Saga Points for the whole transaction. Saga Points cannot be used in combination with other forms of payment.
  • It is not possible to reverse a payment, for example if there are not enough Saga Points for the purchase.
  • Purchases can be made for Saga Points earned at the beginning of your flight.
  • You cannot earn Saga Points for purchases made with your Saga Club Card.
  • If you wish to return goods, the Saga Points are repaid into your account. You can also exchange purchased items for other Saga Shop products at Icelandair’s headquarters.
